I'm a fully-fledged vintageaholic, and when I saw this dress in the vintage ballroom shop in my town I knew I needed it. For £125 it's possibly the best money I've ever spent, and I know that I'll be wearing it for both my upcoming summer ball and my music recital (which happened last sunday). Looking back, I wish I had thought to remove all my scrappy bracelets, but I guess you just can't completely remove the grungy style from me...
This dress literally has the most perfect fit, and needed no adjusting whatsoever, which was more than ideal! I've never been the biggest green wearer, but having worn this and felt the most beautiful I've ever felt, I think my opinions have changed! On my nails I have Stylenomics by Essie, which is a gorgeous dark green, almost black with two coats. I painted them on Sunday and they haven't chipped yet (apart from one, booo) so that's been pretty successful.
